Describe your work in one sentence:

I design and build bespoke custom electric guitars and basses.

Why do you do it?

I've been a guitarist from when I was 12 years old, and music is the foremost passion in my life. I've also always been a maker and an engineer in one way or another, so the logical conclusion was to combine these interests!

What keeps you going (what’s your GRIT)?

The first time I get to see a client take their new instrument out of the case and start to bond with it is a nice incentive. Plus, guitars are cool and I think there should be more of them in the world.

What advice would you give to somebody wanting to become a ‘creative’?

Do it, and make time and resources for it if you can. There are too many necessary but less fulfilling things in life that will fill the space they're given if you don't. 

Tell us something unusual about yourself.

I've brewed beer as a hobby for nearly 20 years. Some of it has been nice too!
