Why do you do it?

To make sense of the world and connect with others in a meaningful way

What keeps you going (what’s your GRIT)?

Art has always been such a deep part of my identity, I don’t know who I’d be without it.

What advice would you give to somebody wanting to become a ‘creative’?

Try and cultivate an attitude of nonjudgment and curiosity. Ignore your inner critic and let yourself play and experiment.

Tell us something unusual about yourself.

I had a hip replacement in my 30’s. Despite this I can still hula hoop really well.
