STOCKPORT PAINT JAM 2024

After the success of last year’s paint jam, where 1,400  people turned up at 6 days notice, the Stockport Paint Jam returns on a bigger scale. Over 50 of the UK’s top street artists are travelling to Stockport on Sunday 22nd September to inject more colour into the town. 

This year’s Stockport Paint Jam will see street artists line a 1km walking tour from Merseyway to GRIT Studios on Canal Street. In addition to the rare opportunity to see the country’s top street artists at work, we’ll have lots of fun for the family including, food, drink, music, kids art workshops, break dancing, skateboarding and more.

So what’s happening?


There are 4 main areas for Stockport Paint Jam 2024 which forms a lovely 1km stroll:

  • MERSEYWAY

    Street artists, kids’ art activities, breakdancing and a few surprises

  • LITTLE UNDERBANK

    Street artists, DJs, food and drink, workshops

  • HOPES CARR

    Street artists, DJs, dancing and more

  • CANAL STREET

    Festival Site featuring 20+ street artists, DJs, Independent food and drinks.

We are looking for a number of people to help as Paint Jam Volunteers (minimum age of 18 years+) for the day.
